Decisions

I had a weekend where I needed to make the decision about jobs. One moment you are unemployed, the next moment you have 2 jobs to choose from. Both the jobs I liked just as much so needed to make the decision on other things. I chose for my boys; to be able to be home on Wednesday and Friday afternoon, to be able to bring them to school myself and to be at home at 6 instead of somewhere around 6.45.
Money wise I chose for the less paying job but being able to spend more time with my boys and to be able to bring them to school means a lot to me.
I decided to go for the Wholesaler in artificial nail products and cosmetics and will start on February 23th.

We're all slowly recovering from the stomach bug that hit us. Mitchell is still very tired but they have their school holidays in a weeks time so time to relax WOOHOO!

Today I went to visit Jo-Anne and it was so nice to see her again and to talk to her. She's such a sweet person and is a big inspiration to me. She was just invited to the Prima Team and I am really proud of her!

I also saw Samuel and what a sweet little fellow he is turning out to be!!

Dit weekend stond in het teken van beslissingen nemen. Zo heb je het ene moment geen baan; het volgende moment moet je kiezen uit 2 banen. De banen lijken me allebei even leuk dus ik moest de beslissing baseren op andere factoren.
Ik heb gekozen voor de baan waar ik op woensdag- en vrijdag middag vrij ben, de jongens zelf naar school kan brengen en om 18.00 thuis ben ipv 18.45. Dat ik iets minder verdien weegt niet op tegen deze dingen.
Ik heb gekozen voor de groothandel voor nagelproducten en begin 23 februari.

We zijn allemaal aan het herstellen van de griep. Mitchell is nog steeds erg moe, maar nog een weekje en dan hebben ze lekker vakantie :)

Vandaag ben ik bij Jo-Anne geweest en het was heerlijk om haar weer te zien en met haar te praten. Het is zo'n lieve meid en een inspiratie voor me. Ze is net uitgenodigd om in het Prima Design Team te komen en ik ben erg trots op d'r!
I heb Samuel ook weer gezien; wat een heerlijk mannetje is dat toch :)

Tomorrow is the big day. After a good job interview I have a test morning at a day care center for children between 3 months and 4 years old.
I am a bit nervous because I really need a job, the situation is getting worse; I need to pay my rent and without a job that's a big task.

Joey is still not feeling well :-( His tummy still hurts and he doesn't want to eat.


Mitchell is getting himself ready for a swim party on Friday night and on Saturday he is going to walk 15 km with his granddad and Myla the dog ;)
Today he wanted to relax and put the rabbits out of their cages:

I scrapped lots this week with new goodies from The Digi Chick, so start posting tomorrow when it's New Items day!

* Morgen is het de grote dag: na een goed sollicitatiegesprek heb ik een proefmorgen op een kinderdagverblijf. Ik heb die baan echt heel hard nodig; de situatie wordt steeds moeilijker; ik moet mijn huur betalen en xonder baan wordt dat een steeds moeilijker hoe langer het duurt.
Joey is nog steeds niet lekker; zijn buikje doet nog pijn en hij eet slecht. Misschien voor het weekend toch nog maar even naar de dokter...
Mitchell is zich aan het opmaken voor een zwemfeestje en gaat zaterdag met opa en Myla 15 kilometer lopen; ben heel benieuwd hoe hem dat gaat bevallen!
Vandaag had hij zin in een luierdagje en wilde de konijnen los laten lopen. Ik vond het zo lief hoe hij Stitch knuffelde :)
Ik heb veel gescrapt van de week met nieuwe spullen van TDC dus begin morgen met de layouts te posten!

Joey has been sick last night. He came out of bed and told me his tummy hurted and he started to throw up and needed to go to the toilet every 5 minutes.
He was looking pale and I felt for the little guy :(
So I took him in my bed to give him some extra comfort.

* Joey werd gisteren avond ziek. Hij kwam uit bed en zei dat hij buikpijn had. Ik vroeg of hij moest spugen en had net de emmer en daar kwam het al. Hij voelde zich zo beroerd en had ook erge diarree. Hij zag zo wit en ik vond het rot hem zo te zien :( Ik heb hem lekker bij me in bed genomen en hem lekker geknuffeld.*


Hopefully he can go to school this afternoon because there's a photographer to take class pics and it would be nice if he could be in the photo!
* Ik hoop dat hij vanmiddag naar school kan. De schoolfotograaf komt en het zou jammer zijn als hij niet op de klassenfoto zou staan.*

Nieuwe start, nieuwe blog :)

2009 is absolutely a year with New Start written over it. After our divorce my x- hubby and I are visiting a marriage counseller and we're very hopeful to leave the past behind us and start fresh again.
I lost my job on the crossline from 2008 to 2009 so a new start there as well. I hope to return to my old profession so keep your fingers crossed for me :)

I am also entering the Project 365. You take a photo every single day and at the end I'll have a book with 52 layouts documenting the every day life of 2009.

My parents are the proud owners of a very sweet dog since yesterday. Her name is Myla and she's 10 months old.
